Background

Deca Durabolin is the trade name for nandrolone decanoate. Deca Durabolin was approved for use in the US by the FDA in 1983

Medical use

Used in treating osteoporosis, anaemia and forms of neoplasia, such as, breast cancer. Nandrolone also acts as a progestin based contraceptive.

Performance Use

Deca Durabolin is well known for it's strength building properties, as well as reducing nagging injury pain. However, due to the drug showing up in drug tests up to 18 months after the cease of use, Deca Durabolin is not commonly used by professional athletes.
